Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak met with Belit Onay, Mayor of Hannover.

Co-Mayor Bucak, who is in Hannover, Germany, for the 43rd General Assembly of the German Association of Cities, continued her meetings there. Together with Bağlar Municipality Co-Mayor Siraç Çelik and municipal council members, Bucak met with Hannover Mayor Belit Onay and former Mayor of Hannover Herbert Schmalstieg.

The meeting focused on project partnerships to be developed between Hannover and Diyarbakır in the fields of culture and the arts, youth, and sports. Both sides expressed their desire to build upon the foundations of friendship and cooperation previously established between the two cities and to translate these into concrete joint initiatives during the current period.
