The second Bridge Festival, organised in collaboration with the Turkish Bridge Federation and the Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, has come to an end. Held at Seyrantepe Sports Hall from 23 to 25 October, the festival concluded with an awards ceremony for the successful participants. Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, which provided technical support for the festival, was represented by Co-Mayor Serra Bucak and members of the municipal council.

Co-Mayor Bucak Presents Awards to Female Competitors

Co-Mayor Bucak presented awards to the successful female competitors at the ceremony. Expressing her pleasure at attending the festival, she said:

“There is a wonderful and unique atmosphere here. Guests from other provinces have also joined us. I would particularly like to congratulate the women who won first place; they have brought colour, beauty, intelligence and hard work to this event. I hope that men in our city will now make way for women, so that we can also present awards to our local female competitors. I would like to thank everyone who has honoured us with a visit to our city and congratulate all the competitors who received awards.”

During the event, Co-Mayor Bucak was also presented with a plaque on behalf of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality.
