Co-Mayor Emin Ay Elected First Deputy Speaker of DBB Assembly
A new election was held at Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality’s September Ordinary Assembly Meeting following the resignation of Evin Yelboğa as First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Following the vote, Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Emin Ay was elected First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Co-Mayor Serra Bucak congratulated Ay and wished him every success in his new role.
The fifth session of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality’s September Ordinary Assembly Meeting was held in the Assembly Meeting Hall under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak. Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Emin Ay and municipal council members attended the meeting.
Election Held for First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly
Following the resignation of First Deputy Speaker Evin Yelboğa, an election was held at the meeting to appoint a new First Deputy Speaker. Following the vote, Co-Mayor Emin Ay was elected First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
‘We Wish Him Every Success in His New Role’
Speaking after the election results were announced, Co-Mayor Serra Bucak said: “We congratulate Emin Ay, who is both our First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and our Co-Mayor. We wish him every success in his new role and hope it will be beneficial for our city and our Assembly.”
Assembly members also congratulated Co-Mayor Emin Ay on his election as First Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
