Ayşe Serra Bucak Küçük

Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality 

 

Ayşe Serra Bucak Küçük was born in Diyarbakır in 1976 and is originally from Siverek (Şanlıurfa).

She graduated from Ä°stanbul CaÄŸaloÄŸlu Anatolian High School in 1995 and earned a degree in German Language and Literature with Pedagogy from the University of Cologne in 2006.

From 2006 to 2011, she worked as the coordinator of the BaÄŸlar Municipality Education Support House.

Between 2014 and 2016, she served as an advisor to the Co-Mayors of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and as a member of the city council.

From 2016 to 2022, she was actively involved in children's and women's initiatives and co-founded the Child Studies Association (ÇocukÇa) in 2018 and served as its chairperson.

Between 2022-2023, she took part in the Green Left Party's Diyarbakır provincial administration.
