Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun called on representatives of institutions at the Surname Mesopotamia Sports Awards of the Year ceremony and said, “Let's strengthen the field of sports together as a claw of integrative power.” 

Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun attended the ceremony organized for the Surname Mesopotamia Sports Awards of the Year at Dicle University Culture and Congress Hall.  

Co-Chair Hatun: Institutions can reach the power to provide service when they cooperate

Speaking at the ceremony, Co-President Doğan Hatun greeted the participants and stated that he is also a graduate of Dicle University Faculty of Engineering, Mining Engineering. Stating that the university has a good potential, but there is a missing point, Hatun said, “Only when the institutions of this city act together as a whole, the municipality, the university, other public institutions and non-governmental organizations can reach the power to provide services where they should be. That is when the real power emerges. It is true that Dicle University, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and other institutions are institutions on their own. But when we act together in projects, in this city, in our approach to people and our future, it will find a better meaning and our youth, our future and our city can become better known all over the world.”
