Serra Bucak, Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, visited and inspected the Day Care Center and Respite Houses.

Following the establishment of the Department of Disability and Elderly Services, Co-Mayor Serra Bucak made her first visit to the Day Care Center and Respite Houses, where parents can easily leave their children during the day. Co-President Bucak's first stop was Yenişehir Şehitlik Respite Center. Co-Mayor Bucak examined the physical conditions, hygiene and activities of the Respite Center and received information from the authorities about the level of special education received by the children and the general situation. 

Co-President Bucak then visited Park Orman Active Living Center and Kayapınar Huzurevleri Neighborhood Day Care Center and asked for the deficiencies to be addressed as soon as possible. Co-President Bucak also received information about the maintenance, repair and renovation of the centers and the status of the courses so that children with special needs can benefit from the facilities more easily. 

Co-President Bucak was accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Özgür Yıldız, Head of Disabled and Elderly Services Department İsmail Değirmenci and council members.
