The Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination Department continues to work to open the roads closed in Kulp, Silvan, Lice and Hani districts where snowfall was effective.Â

Teams worked intensively in regions where a total of 600 kilometers of roads were closed. With the devoted efforts of 18 vehicles and 67 personnel, 70 percent of the closed roads were opened to transportation in a short time, eliminating the grievances of citizens.

Within the scope of the works, 18 neighborhoods in Kulp district and 4 neighborhoods and 3 hamlets in Silvan were opened.Â
In addition, the roads of funeral vehicles stranded on the roads in Silvan and Lice districts were opened and funeral vehicles were escorted to the cemeteries.
