Fire Safety Report
What is a Fire Safety Report?
A Fire Safety Report is a document certifying fire safety compliance for all types of structures, buildings, facilities and business premises used by public institutions and organisations, private organisations and individuals. It is issued in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, which entered into force under Council of Ministers Decision No. 2007/12937 of 27 November 2007.
Where Can I Obtain a Fire Safety Report?
Applicants must complete the application form, available from our branch directorates or via the link below, with complete and up-to-date information and submit it to the Document Registration Unit at the Municipality’s service building.
Inspection teams appointed by our Department inspect the premises and generally provide a response within approximately 15 days. The statutory processing period is 30 days.
Inspection of Business Premises for Fire Safety Measures
Upon request, inspections may be carried out to determine whether the required fire safety measures are in place in structures, buildings, facilities and business premises used by public institutions and organisations, private organisations and individuals.
Inspections are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, published in the Official Gazette No. 26735 of 19 December 2007 and subsequently amended on various dates.
